Winter Night Shelter

2016 / 2017

Clay Hill took part in the Enfield Churches Winter Night Shelter Project in 2016/17, under the umbrella of All People All Places.  It was the third year we hosted the shelter at St Luke’s Church.  We hosted the shelter on Friday nights from 4 January to 6 April 2017.

We had 25 guests during the 13 weeks of the shelter, and over 70 volunteers plus scouts helped, providing food, friendship and hospitality.

We are expecting to host the shelter again during the 2017/18 winter, and will start preparations in September 2017.  Previous volunteers will be contacted again and if you are interested in volunteering, please contact Peter Livermore at
