Our Life as a Church
The current restrictions on our way of life are
going to have an enormous effect on many
things - including our church finances.
Our income has been slashed - the collection is
not taken on a Sunday morning, and no-one is
hiring our halls.
However, our outgoings remain enormous,
with our biggest expenses remaining:
insurance, ministry costs, and maintaining our
buildings.
Some of us will also experience a financial
downturn at the present time. But for those of us
whose income remains stable, please consider
how you will support our common life as a
community at this time.
We would especially like those who do not
already have a standing order or direct debit with
the church to consider setting one up.
It’s vital that we all support one another at
this time – please don’t leave it up to others.
A massive thank you those of you who have
already stepped up in this way – we are all
hugely grateful.
