Our Vicar: Mother Mitzi James Email: mthr.mitzi@clayhillparish.org.uk Tel: 020 8363 6055 "Mother Mitzi was installed as Vicar of our parish on 11 June 2023. She trained for the priesthood at Mirfield, was ordained deacon in 2020 and priest in 2021, serving as Curate at Hornsey Parish Church before coming to Clay Hill. Mitzi was Governor at St Mary’s Primary School Hornsey, and has also been Chaplain for North London YMCA, North London Pastoral Assistants Flat, and Hornsey Air Cadets. She is training to be a spiritual director. Before being ordained, Mitzi worked in the homelessness sector, including 20 years in local government, and has also volunteered with North London Samaritans. She enjoys hiking, reading, cycling, scooting, scuba diving, visiting galleries, and being in nature. Mitzi is a member of a dispersed community of priests and is welcoming and inclusive and takes every opportunity to share the Good News of the love of God in Jesus Christ with everyone." Mitzi
