WeddingsGetting married is one of the most special things that can come our way in life. Having a Christian service can be a particularly special thing; it means vowing to love one another with the passion and commitment that God has for all of us, and having God’s blessing placed upon your marriage.St John’s and St Luke’s are both beautiful church buildings in which to get married. St John’s is small, intimate, and has a country-ish setting. St Luke’s is bigger and grander, and is nearer the town, opposite the lovely Hilly Fields Park. The Church of England’s website www.yourchurchwedding.org is dedicated to all things wedding-related, which should include plenty of information that you may find useful. If you want to find out more, the best way to start is to come along to a Parish Eucharist at either church on a Sunday. After the service you can speak to Mitzi, our vicar, and she will arrange to send you all the preliminary information and legal information that you will need to consider before meeting again to discuss things in more detail. You can also contact her on or at 020 8363 6055, or at mthr.mitzi@clayhillparish.org.uk
